So I finished the game. Overall, I had a lot of fun with it. Only took about 8 hours. I think it's a pretty underrated game. I mean, there was certainly room for improvement, but still a fun play through.
One of my biggest gripes right now having just beat it though is that it DOESN'T save your stats for your next play. What does this mean? Well, first off, it makes getting all the achievements for the game a LOT harder. Eg. Kill X guys via a certain kill attack. Or master all Single-handed attacks.
Well, I JUST about mastered all my Single-handed attacks and a good amount of dual-wielding. Yet, I didn't quite finish them. So now what? I have to play the entire game again only concentrating on ONE specific combat style? That's just NOT COOL. Similarly I missed like 1 power up somewhere so can't get that achievement without playing the entire thing again and get ALL OF THEM. Almost all the achievements I didn't get were stupid things like this where I made a lot of progress, but didn't quite finish. So I'm kind of pissed about that. It's the type of mistake that seems to find its way into so many games despite being an obvious flaw....oh well. Life goes on.

But yeah totally underrated for the fact that the fighting engine is just so solid, and you can switch it up with the different styles.
