Beat single-player! I really enjoyed this game. It was a ton of fun with lots of destruction and an open world. It's a perfect length of gameplay...I believe it took me between 15 and 20 hours...probably closer to the later.
There's lots of pieces and ways of playing. Such things as the typical campaign missions, time-trial demolition challenges, destruction runs (destroy as much as possible), time-trial racing, free-the-hostages, etc, etc. Everything except for the campaign missions were optional. I mean, you would have to complete some of the others, but you got to choose what and in any order, etc. Extremely open.
There's even more like weapon upgrading, collecting stuff, etc, but that's typical in most games.
Than there's multiplayer...but I haven't gotten to that. I hear it's amazing though and even better than single-player (we'll see).

After you beat the story, you can go back and complete any side-missions you hadn't before. They basically just leave you in the game when you complete it right where you left off. So everything you've done to affect the world is still exactly the same. If you blew up a building before, that building is still gone. Really sweet stuff. Something most games don't do, but should. The great thing too is that most of the missions and side-stuff is fun so you will want to go back and finish them.
